GALA RECEPTION
The Great Plains Network invites all registered attendees of the GPN 2022 Annual Meeting to attend the Gala Reception on the evening of Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art. The Gala Reception promises to be an evening of socializing, meeting new people, and reconnecting with others whom you may have not seen for some time. Light snacks and drinks will be served. Portions of the museum will be open where you can visit and see outstanding exhibits from its growing collection of contemporary art. Registered attendees can bring a guest by purchasing a guest ticket when registering for the conference. Dress during the reception will be business casual.

Transportation and Parking
A shuttle is provided by GPN for transport to and from the Gala Reception at the Kemper Museum. The bus will depart from the front entrance of the Fontaine Hotel and make continuous round trips between the Fontaine and the museum from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
If you wish to drive on your own, the Kemper Museum provides guests with complimentary parking immediately surrounding the main museum and in the marked lot located just north of the main museum at the corner of 44th and Warwick. Handicap parking spaces are available in both locations. Read more…

If you choose to walk, the Kemper Museum is about 1.1 miles from the Fontaine Hotel.
KEMPER MUSEUM COVID-19 POLICY
The Kemper Museum has recently revised its COVID-19 policy for private events. The museum will no longer require proof of vaccination for guests, vendors, and staff. Masks are no longer required, although guests may choose to wear a mask if they wish to do so. The museum reserves the right to change this policy as public health requirements change.
At this time and for the foreseeable future, the Kemper Museum has implemented a Covid-19 Policy for all private events. Prior to entry into the Kemper Museum we require that upon entry, all guests (5 and over) must show proof of vaccination or negative PCR test results (valid within 72 hours of the event). Guests will be required to show a photo of their vaccination card or the physical vaccination card at check in. If the guest has been vaccinated, but forgets or misplaced the proof, there will be a document/affidavit that can be signed at the door. Guests must indicate the date and type of vaccine received. The host may also collect these documents prior to the event and share those with the Special Events Manager to expedite the check in of the event. All staff, vendors, and guests (ages 2 and up) are required to wear masks when not eating or drinking.
