Many of the activities of the Great Plains Network are accomplished through the mutual effort of individuals at our member institutions. The GPN Executive Council has authorized three standing programs (and associated committees) to further these efforts.
The purpose of the GPN Network Program is to provide networking services to members that wish to participate. The GPN Network Program Committee (NPC) is the managing entity of the GPN Network Program, operating with delegated authority from the GPN Executive Council. Learn more
The purpose of the GPN CI Program is, in the short term, to oversee and guide the process of implementing the recommendations of the GPN Cyberinfrastructure Advisory Committee Report (Appendices I & II) and, in the long term, to assure the ongoing vitality of the GPN Cyberinfrastructure program in terms of a portfolio of services that meet member needs. Research Advisory Board
GPN is the result of a large-scale collaboration among institutions in seven states to create a high performance network in support of research and education. As a result of that collaboration, GPN is dedicated to facilitating additional large-scale, multi-institutional collaborations. Learn more
