The Great Plains Network (GPN) is a consortium aggregating networks through PoP connections. We also advance research, foster collaboration, and support cyberinfrastructure development for universities and state research and education networks across the Great Plains. The Great Plains Network was founded by researchers and for researchers to increase networking speeds and enable access to national cyberinfrastructure.
GPN was one of the first GigaPoP connections to Internet2 and has remained diligent in its mission to support research and the missions of its member institutions over the course of its 30 year history.
