NSF CI PAOS: Developing a Statewide Quantum Computing Working Group funding began July 1, 2026, allows them to formalize a collaborative mission to build a robust educational ecosystem for Arkansas.
Grant Objectives and Scope: In alignment with their strategic vision, these recurring sessions will focus on several key project milestones:
- Quantum Computing Curriculum Development: Designing modular instructional materials for both university educational frameworks and high school STEM programs.
- Research Data Management (RDM): Integrating best practices for the RDM lifecycle—including data acquisition and metadata application—into our emerging technology curricula.
- Industry and Federal Alignment: Continuing our dialogue with partners like IBM, Qunnect, and the Quantum Foundry, as well as the Department of Energy, to ensure our students gain the competencies required for the future workforce.
- Dissemination: Preparing our final White Paper and Rubric to provide actionable recommendations for CI-enabled RDM practices.
