Job Description:
MU is inviting applications for a Cyberinfrastructure Engineer for the Cyber Education & Research Initiative at the MU College of Engineering.
The Cyberinfrastructure Engineer will provide end user support services to faculty, staff, and students on the use of research computing hardware and software as well as scientific applications and scientific workflows; provide cyberinfrastructure as well as performance engineering efforts in collaboration with national-level partner universities/labs. Responsibilities of this position will include, creating and maintaining training materials for research computing related software and hardware; conducting training; evaluating, installing, upgrading, and maintain scientific software; and consulting with researchers on the development and migration of scientific workflows to a high performance research computing environment.
