SC17 (SuperComputing17) was in Denver, CO the week of November 13.  GPN had a booth on the exhibit show floor. It was a place to have meetings, relax, and our members gave presentations.

  • Doug Jennewein (University of South Dakota) presents Tera Flops on the Prairie – CyberPioneering in South Dakota.
  • Micheal Quinn (University of Missouri): HPC Cluster Management with Puppet/Razor/GitLab at the University of Missouri – A case study
  • Kyle Hutson (Kansas State University): CAAS – Ceph as a Service – Lessons Learned
  • Tim Middelkoop (University of Missouri): Research Computing at Mizzou – We are Hiring, Join Our Team!
  • Kevin Brandt (South Dakota State University):  Research Cyberinfrastructure Success Stories

  • David Swanson (University of Nebraska, Lincoln):  OSG, What Have We Learned?

A surprise hit of the conference was Flat Henry, a caricature drawing of Henry Neeman.  Sometimes there were two Henrys in the booth!
