North Dakota State University (NDSU) in Fargo, ND is looking for good people to serve as Research Computing Facilitators and help North Dakota researchers fully utilize resources available at our Center for Computationally Assisted Science and Technology (CCAST) and through our partnership relations with industrial and academic service providers to take their research to the next level. We are interested in candidates at all levels of experience from newly minted PhD/MS graduates who’ve decided they like helping people succeed in a wide area of research, to senior facilitators with years of experience and deep knowledge of technology and techniques. All are encouraged to apply and will be evaluated for the appropriate level of position.

North Dakota aspires to create a capable workforce of knowledge workers, particularly those savvy in computational techniques and data analysis, and is beginning an focused effort of building up capabilities in research, training, and economic opportunities in this area. This would be an excellent opportunity for persons interested in working with us on entrepreneurship and/or contributing to addressing the national shortfall of knowledge workers. Some personal research time may be available for exceptional candidates who wish to remain active researchers.
