GPN Members Awarded PEARC Award

A team including three researchers from the Great Plains Network community was awarded the Phil Andrews Award at the PEARC’26 Annual Conference for the article The Cyberinfrastructure Leadership Academy: Building National Capacity for Research Computing Leadership. Henry Neeman of The University of Oklahoma, Dana Brunson of Internet2 (formerly of Oklahoma State University), and Jim Wilgenbusch of the University of Minnesota shared the honor with Julie Wernert of Indiana University and Kathryn Kelley of The Ohio State University.

PEARC (Practice and Experience in Advanced Research Computing)brought research computing professionals from throughout the U.S. to Minneapolis, including a large representation from GPN affiliated universities. PEARC’27 will occur in Raleigh, NC, June 11 – 15.
